Mr. Eric Anthony Affram

Mr. Eric Affram joined Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), formerly, NBSSI, in 1998 as an Assistant Project Officer. He rose through the ranks and became the Regional Manager for Upper East, Northern and Volta Regions between 2007 and 2019. He is currently the Acting Director for the Financial Support Services Directorate of GEA responsible for the management of credit and grant schemes of the Agency

He holds M. Sc. In Project Management from the University of Cape-Coast and B. Sc. in Biochemistry and Food Science from the University of Ghana, Legon.

He has participated in various courses which include; Microcredit & Other Support Systems for Women in Small Businesses. MASHAV, ISRAEL, in March 2005; Industrial Development Services, in Japan 2010; Promotion of Rural Micro Enterprises, in India, 2013 and Management Improvement of Micro & Small Enterprises, in Japan 2014.

Mr. Affram designed a credit scheme for ‘Ghana Association of the Blind’ (GAB) in 2005.

Between 2016 and 2018, he supervised the implementation of Kaizen to 46 SMEs in the Northern Region under the NBSSI-JICA Kaizen Project.

He developed a Training Manual on ‘Agricultural Marketing’ under the KOICA sponsored ‘Capacity Development of Farmer-Based Cooperatives (FBCs)/Farmer-Based Organizations (FBOs) in Northern Ghana in 2018.

He supervised the implementation of BDS component of UNICEF-GoG SanMark Program in 15 Districts of the Northern Region in 2018.

Mr. Affram was involved in the design and management of Coronavirus Alleviation Programme Business Support Scheme (CAPBuSS) from 2019 to date.
