Mr. Alhassan Andani is a Ghanaian economist, the former president of the Ghana Association of Bankers (GAB), and the former Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ghana and a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Fin Africa Institute in Milan. Mr Andani is also an alumnus of the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme, and holds an International Management Certificate from INSEAD, Chartered Bank. He began his career at the then SSB Bank Limited in 1984, and rose through the ranks to become the Regional Project Manager in the Upper Region in 1987. Mr Alhassan was also appointed by Gold Fields Limited as an independent non-executive director at its Board of Directors on August 1, 2016.
