Dr Mary Owusu is the Director of the Smart Sustainable Cities and Historical Heritage Secretariat (SSCHH) headquartered in Kyebi, Ghana. Her work spans multiple sectors, coordinating and facilitating initiatives and funding while strengthening the Secretariat’s stakeholder and partner relationships. She has lived and worked extensively in Ghana, and North America as an educator and researcher, and actively applies this international experience to her role. Mary is strongly committed to community-led and asset-based approaches to community development that is regenerative and leads to more resilient and revitalised local communities.
